  • Welcome to FABIANO photography!

Welcome to my photography blog!  The place to catch recent announcements, news, and of course sneak peeks from photo sessions.  This blog is a quick, fun & easy way for me to communicate with you and vice versa.  Feel free to comment on photos or contact me directly.  Click on the "contact" tab to get in touch!

I am a photographer in the Thunder Bay, Ontario area that specializes in newborn photography.  I photograph babies just days after birth so that you will never forget just how tiny and perfect they truly are!  I am so lucky to have the opportunity to photograph many wonderful children and their families, capturing moments they will cherish always.

Some personal tid bits about me... I am a Radiation Therapist by trade and work full time days at the hospital (please keep this in mind if I haven't replied to your emails!) ~ I have been married to a wonderful guy for 2 years (but still love reading wedding magazines!) ~ I have an addiction to chocolate and peanut butter, and they go excellent together! ~ I enjoyed the Twilight series a lot, ok too much ~ I love photography!

If you are currently pregnant or have just had a baby contact me now!  Newborn photography is available for babies 3 weeks and younger (8-12 days old is best).  Maternity photography is also available.

Taylor | Thunder Bay Newborn Photographer

Beautiful baby Taylor was officially the first newborn in my new studio and I loved every second of it!  This sweet little lady did so well and slept nearly the entire time, a perfect model!  At just 11 days old she has the best pouty lips and perfect skin – I hardly had to edit a thing!  I hope mom and dad enjoy the sneak peek.  Thank you so much for allowing me to capture these memories and congratulations on your beautiful little girl!  Enjoy!

Benjamin | Thunder Bay Newborn Photographer

Here is another sneak peek that is a long time coming but I’m excited to finally share some photos of adorable baby Benjamin!  This little guy made us work hard to get these fantastic shots but it was worth every second!  Baby Ben is a lucky guy to have a wonderful big sister to look out for him and she was so well behaved at our session she blew me away!  Thank you so much A & M for letting me capture your family.  Your children are beautiful and I hope you enjoy this preview from our session!

Mack | Thunder Bay Newborn Photographer

I’m alive!  I know it’s been a long time since my last post but I’m finally back!  I’ll post more about my trip and workshop soon but this post is dedicated to sweet Mack.  I photographed him just before I left the country (literally the night before!) so these pictures are a long time coming!

I work with baby Mack’s mom and have been planning for this shoot for nine long months!  I’ll admit, I totally thought he was going to be a girl!  What a surprise when handsome little Mack made his appearance!  He is an absolute sweetheart and I can’t get over how incredibly cute he is!  I loved every second of our shoot and he did such a good job!  This little guy is so loved by so many people I can’t wait to show off some of the pictures.  J&A, congratulations on your new arrival, I couldn’t be happier or more excited for you both!

First a few from our maternity shoot, when we had no idea who was in that beautiful belly!

and here he is in all his cuteness!  Meet Mack!

Big Adventures…

With my home studio almost complete (it’s been almost complete for months, but now we’re really getting close!) I’m off on another educational adventure to keep improving my photography skills.  This workshop is taking me to beautiful Baltimore Maryland to work with an amazing baby photographer and learn more about studio lighting.  I feel it is so important to keep learning and challenging myself so that I can continue to offer my clients the best experience and the highest quality work.  I’m so excited for this opportunity and I can’t wait to bring some new ideas home for my upcoming newborn sessions!

With the number of emails I’m getting I’m beginning to think Thunder Bay is in the middle of a baby boom!  So many little ones have been born lately and I can hardly keep up with my inbox!  As much as I would love to photograph each and every one of your little cuties I want to remind my blog readers that I am a very small boutique studio and have very limited availability due to my full time job at the hospital.  Yes, it is best to contact me ahead of time to get information and decide if my style of photography suits you, but I don’t book any sessions until baby is physically here and I can not guarantee anyone a session in advance.  It all comes down to timing – baby has to be the right age AND I have to have an opening.  If only there were more hours in the day (and more days in the weekend)!

I will likely be unable to return messages until I am home from my trip and will book new sessions in the order that the emails were received.  Until then, this cartoon is for all you new parents!

Have a great week!

Amelia

Meet little Amelia at 35 days old.  That’s right, 35 days.  This little peanut decided to make her entrance into the world 6 weeks early and spent a good chunk of that time in the NICU.  I’m happy to announce that she is finally home and is a happy, healthy and beautiful little girl!  This was my first ever “premie” shoot and I was a bit nervous as I had no idea what to expect!  As it turns out this was one of the smoothest sessions I’ve had to date!  I literally could have taken her picture all day – she was that good to me!  It was so hard to pick just a few photos to put up for her sneak peek.  I know how much this little girl means to her family and I can’t thank her mom enough for spending the day with me and trusting me with these special memories.  Here are just a few of the adorable images I was able to get of tiny Amelia.  Enjoy!
