I am a photographer in the Thunder Bay, Ontario area that specializes in newborn photography.  I photograph babies just days after birth so that you will never forget just how tiny and perfect they truly are!  I am so lucky to have the opportunity to photograph many wonderful children and their families, capturing moments they will cherish always.

Some personal tid bits about me... I am a Radiation Therapist by trade and work full time days at the hospital (please keep this in mind if I haven't replied to your emails!) ~ I have been married to a wonderful guy for 3 years (but still love reading wedding magazines!) ~ I have an addiction to chocolate and peanut butter, and they go excellent together! ~ I enjoyed the Twilight series a lot, ok too much ~ I love photography!

If you are currently pregnant or have just had a baby contact me now!  Newborn photography is available for babies 3 weeks and younger (8-12 days old is best).  Maternity photography is also available.

Beirne | Thunder Bay Newborn Photographer

This little man is so incredibly loved and cherished and it was an absolute pleasure to photograph him and his family.  His name means “bear” and, it might only be a coincidence, but when I put his special teddy bear hat on him he gave me the biggest smile!  So adorable!  Enjoy the sneak peek from our session, he’s just perfect!

Jolene - Oh Jen, these are beautiful. Love the one with Mom & the Bear hat. Congrats Ann & Jaret…Beirne is perfect!

Chloe | Thunder Bay Newborn Photographer

Tiny and perfect.  That’s how I would describe baby Chloe.  She was absolutely wonderful for her session and we got such a wide variety of shots that it’s going to be hard for her parents to pick a favourite!  Thank you so much for bringing your little princess to me for her first photos.  Enjoy the sneak peek from our morning together and don’t forget to check my facebook page for a few more sweet pictures of Chloe (and be sure to click “like” to ensure you see all of the adorable newborns as I post them!).

Riah | Thunder Bay Newborn Photographer

Baby Riah was so good to me.  She slept nearly her entire shoot and barely made any mess at all!  What a dream model!  Usually it’s the baby boys that show up with to-die-for eyelashes but little Riah has some of the longest lashes I’ve seen in a while!  And she is such a lucky little girl to have an amazing big brother that loves her so much.  I had to take a few little breaks during out shoot because someone had snuck up to give his baby sister kisses…how cute is that?!  Enjoy the sneak peek from our fantastic session and thank you for letting me capture such a special time!

Rex |Thunder Bay Newborn Photographer

I was thrilled to hear that this beautiful family was expecting again and, since photographing big sister a few years ago, I was excited to catch up with them and meet their newest addition!  Baby Rex is an absolutely handsome little man and, after making a few big messes at the start of the shoot (don’t worry Rex, I forgive you!), he slept soundly and we captured some timeless images of his first days.  If you’ve been here for a session then you know I can be very picky about finger placement…well Rex had the tightest clenched fists I’ve ever seen and he would not budge when I tried to straighten his fingers!  Looking at his photos I see his little curled fingers and smile, he was definitely the one in charge of the shoot!  Enjoy the sneak peek from my first newborn of 2012!  Thank you so much for trusting me yet again with your precious baby’s first photos!

Erin Perozak - Oh…wonderful, Jen!
Thank you for these great shots…sooo happy with them! Can’t wait to see the rest!
You’re right, he was the boss that day!

Melina | Thunder Bay Newborn Photographer

Sweet little Melina was the last newborn to visit the studio in 2011 and she sure made my last shoot a memorable one!  She is so, so strong and was practically crawling away from me at times, I couldn’t believe it!  Even though she spent more time awake than we would have liked, Melina did finally give in and we got some beautiful sleepy shots.  She is absolutely precious.  Enjoy the sneak peek of a few of my favourite images.

I am still on holidays until January 9th and will be returning emails after that.  Thank you so much to all of my clients, supporters and fans who helped to make 2011 so amazing.  A lot of changes happened in 2011 and it was more challenging than I could have ever imagined.  Welcoming my own little peanut into the world brought on new stresses and considerations that I never anticipated… but I wouldn’t have had it any other way.  I look forward to an exciting and fun 2012!  A little slideshow of the 2011 newborns I’ve photographed is up on my facebook page.  I truly am lucky to have met so many beautiful babies.  xoxo
