How adorable is this little man!  I see a lot of cute babies doing newborn photography but this little guy just stole my heart!  At only 9 days old he was an absolute perfect model and such a great sleeper.  He’s also all ready for hockey season and is quickly learning how to cheer on his favourite team (likely the cutest fan the Canadians have)!  I hope mom and dad enjoy their sneak peek, I’m honoured to have been able to capture this special time for you.  Enjoy!

A baby brother!  At just 7 days old it is already obvious that little Liam is absolutely adored by his older brothers.  What a perfect addition to this amazing family.  He is just so precious and he slept so well for me, I couldn’t have asked for more out of a newborn!   Thank you so much for letting me capture your newest little boy.  Here are a few of my favourites from our session, enjoy the sneak peek!

Adorable little Sean Jr. was simply a joy to photograph!  It seems all he wanted to do was stretch out and I kept trying to curl him up!  I’m so glad he gave in every now and then so we could get these amazingly adorable shots.  To S.J.’s family, thank you so much for allowing me to capture your precious little man!  Enjoy the sneak peek!

Meet adorable Jayce at just 10 days old.  This is another little guy that I’ve been waiting to meet for a long time as I work with his mommy at the hospital and this photo shoot has been nine long months in the making!  It’s always a challenge to photograph newborns with older siblings but Jayce was a superstar and big sister was so gentle and loving, it was so sweet to watch!  We also did a pregnancy shoot a few weeks before baby’s arrival and this first photo with mommy’s belly is one of my all time favourites.  Enjoy the sneak peek of my time with Jayce.  Congratulations J&R on your handsome little man, I’m so happy he’s finally here safe and sound! xoxo

It’s a boy…for the third time!  Little Frank Jr. came for his newborn photos at just 10 days old and brought along his two proud older brothers.  They are all ridiculously adorable and photogenic!  Here is a sneak peek from our session – it was hard to choose just a few to show, they are all so cute!  Enjoy!

I know I’ve been neglecting my blog as of late and this summer is just flying by!  So what have I been up to?  Last week I took a few days off to celebrate my 34th birthday.  The best gift I got?  My adorable nephew bought me a warehouse size box of peanut butter cups that I will be eating for many, many months to come…he knows me so well (and I might be eating one as I type this)!  I also dedicated some time in July to finishing up my basement studio and, although I still have pictures to hang and doors to paint, it is done, finally!  I absolutely love having a dedicated space to take pictures – I had forgotten how nice my living room and kitchen look with all the furniture in place!  As mentioned before I also took some time to travel to Baltimore to learn studio lighting from amazing baby photographer Jodie Otte.  What an unbelievable experience!  Not only was it great to see how Jodie works her magic in the studio, but I also met some brilliant photographers from across the US (and even one from the UK!).  Below are a few pictures from my trip.  First is Jodie’s jaw dropping studio, to say I’m jealous is an understatement.  And what is a blog post without some newborn cuteness!  We had a sweet little model that slept so well we couldn’t even wake her up when we wanted to practice awake shots!  Now that’s my kind of baby!   Thanks for everyone’s patience as I took some time to learn and grow and celebrate!  I’m now back at it full force and I can’t wait to meet some of Thunder Bay’s newest additions!

Beautiful baby Taylor was officially the first newborn in my new studio and I loved every second of it!  This sweet little lady did so well and slept nearly the entire time, a perfect model!  At just 11 days old she has the best pouty lips and perfect skin – I hardly had to edit a thing!  I hope mom and dad enjoy the sneak peek.  Thank you so much for allowing me to capture these memories and congratulations on your beautiful little girl!  Enjoy!

Here is another sneak peek that is a long time coming but I’m excited to finally share some photos of adorable baby Benjamin!  This little guy made us work hard to get these fantastic shots but it was worth every second!  Baby Ben is a lucky guy to have a wonderful big sister to look out for him and she was so well behaved at our session she blew me away!  Thank you so much A & M for letting me capture your family.  Your children are beautiful and I hope you enjoy this preview from our session!

I’m alive!  I know it’s been a long time since my last post but I’m finally back!  I’ll post more about my trip and workshop soon but this post is dedicated to sweet Mack.  I photographed him just before I left the country (literally the night before!) so these pictures are a long time coming!

I work with baby Mack’s mom and have been planning for this shoot for nine long months!  I’ll admit, I totally thought he was going to be a girl!  What a surprise when handsome little Mack made his appearance!  He is an absolute sweetheart and I can’t get over how incredibly cute he is!  I loved every second of our shoot and he did such a good job!  This little guy is so loved by so many people I can’t wait to show off some of the pictures.  J&A, congratulations on your new arrival, I couldn’t be happier or more excited for you both!
